Meet Our Team: Gabrielle
Hello everyone! My name is Gabrielle, and I help Liza run Auberge.
I just began working with Liza about three months ago, and so far I am really enjoying it. This is my first time working in short-term rentals - my background is in coffee and food service. Previously in cafes and now in STRs, I love curating a positive experience for clients, tuning in to how every little detail affects the overall presentation and feel of a space, and intentionally seeing things through others’ eyes. I get a lot of satisfaction out of being helpful and solving problems for our guests, and I love hearing about all of the different circumstances that bring people to our corner of Ardmore.
Day to day, you’ll find me coordinating with our wonderful cleaner, Regaine, ordering supplies, and checking in with guests. I also help Liza manage other properties she owns through her real estate company, Franklin Penn. Our office is just a short walk from Auberge in downtown Ardmore. I went to school at Bryn Mawr College about a decade ago, so it’s been really sweet to be back on the Main Line, revisiting some of my old haunts.
I’m happy to be a part of filling the need for short-term housing in our community, because I see how it helps bring families together and makes people’s work lives easier and more fulfilling. I also really love interior design, and it’s fun for me to see all of the thoughtful choices Liza made when setting up Auberge’s furnished apartments. I admire her eye for sophisticated, modern design, and I’m planning on borrowing some of those elements the next time I redecorate my home.
I’m excited to see how Auberge grows overtime, and the path my own professional journey takes alongside the business. I feel like I’m learning new skills every day that I will carry into the future. I often daydream about moving to the mountains one day and opening a little bed and breakfast with an organic farm and cafe that would serve travelers and neighbors alike.
In my free time, I love to try out new restaurants and cafes, paint, make pottery, and garden. I have three cats thanks to my bad habit of taking in sick kittens from the stray colony on my street, and I spoil them rotten. If you ever have questions about coffee brewing, plant care, or are looking to adopt a cat, I’m your girl.
I’m glad to be part of the Auberge team and can’t wait to help make your stay feel easy, comfortable, and well cared for.
